My Cup ‘O Jane

When I’m waiting for the streetcar

And all of a sudden it begins to rain...

I start praying for some sunshine

And my little Cup o’ Jane...

Cup o’ Jane

Cup o’ Jane

Oh, will she be my Cup o’ Jane?

When I’m sitting on the runway

And they won’t let us deplane...

I start hoping for a gate change

And my little Cup o’ Jane...

Cup o’ Jane

Cup o’ Jane

Oh, will she be my Cup o’ Jane?

When I’m working at the gym

And my back starts feelin the pain...

I start wishing for a rub down

And my little Cup o’ Jane...

Cup o’ Jane

Cup o’ Jane

Oh, will she be my Cup o’ Jane?

When I’m jogging up Chestnut Street

And a pothole gives me an ankle sprain...

I start begging for some crutches

And my little Cup o’ Jane...

Cup o’ Jane

Cup o’ Jane

Oh, will she be my Cup o’ Jane?

When we finally start to celebrate

And suddenly realize there’s no Champagne...

I know that life is so much sweeter

With my little Cup o’ Jane...

Cup o’ Jane

Cup o’ Jane

She’ll always be my Cup o’ Jane!
